Tory was born and raised as country as they come. He is the only son in a loving family that has survived the hard times and defined sacrifice. Maybe that's why he is unrelenting in his pursuit of the dream so many long for. He recalls, "The first time I ever sang, it was with our family group. I was hooked! We traveled all over the place and played just about anywhere that would have us." He goes on to say, "If it hadn't been for my family, I may not be doing this today, and even if I were, I believe with all my heart I wouldn't be where I am. I owe them big time!"

Tory has devoted the better part of 20 years to honing his craft. He has been in the company of several legendary performers such as Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, and Dwight Yoakam. In addition to live shows, Tory has taken periodic trips into recording studios at various stages of his development. Recent years have been some of the most expansive and creative in this emerging artist career. "I have been writing more and more the past couple of years, I guess maybe I've hit my prolific period, ha ha!" He comments with a sly grin. "I love to explore the possibilities of what hasn't been attempted and to pay homage to the singers and songwriters that have given me the inspiration to do what it is that I do."

And always, "remembering where you come from" isn't just something Tory says -- it’s the way he lives.
